Who we are

Hi, I’m Parisa (aka ‘The Gypsy). I grew up in my parents’ florist shop in Paddington, being inspired by the bohemian arts culture that surrounded me. Some of my earliest memories are of scrounging through Paddington Markets where I would collect all sorts of interesting trinkets and return to my parents shop. There I’d combine the these with flowers to invent beautiful little vignettes. Twenty years ago, my love for creating led me to open my first vintage store where I could play shop for real, in my own space. Now, after some years of using my passions to help people design their own beautiful homes, businesses and events, I’ve recently opened the doors to “The Pony & The Gypsy (Vintage Wares)” in my Blue Mountains community of Springwood (where I’m frequently seen walking my dog ‘Poni’. Some of my customers have described the shop as a '“memory jog” or “a stroll through memory lane”. Please let me know what you think.
